We are thrilled to have welcomed students back to the safest and most engaging environment possible. We believe that our Vision of Teaching Minds, Reaching Hearts, Transforming our World is best achieved through the relationships and interactions between staff and students each day on the BCS Campus.

We recognize the great challenges before us and the apprehension many of you are feeling. Our verse for the year is Phillipians 4:8, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.” In the midst of all that is going on around us, we have a unique opportunity for the upcoming school year to allow Jesus to do amazing things in our midst as we focus on things excellent and praiseworthy.

Our posture is to allow for as much normal learning and activity as possible while taking every precaution to ensure that we reduce the possibility of students and staff contracting COVID-19. However, the year will look different and we have put the following plans in place to meet Alberta Health Service (AHS) expectations and provide for reasonable safety. This plan is fluid and will be adjusted as AHS regulations change, and as we learn how we might do things better with feedback from staff, students and BCS families. In all situations, we are required to strictly follow the guidelines established by Alberta Education and AHS.
