Amanda Filipchuk holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Ambrose University, a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with Distinction from the University of Calgary, a Professional Certificate of General Music Studies from Berklee College of Music Online, and a Diploma of Professional Cooking from SAIT. Her previous experience includes teaching at Master’s Academy, coaching freestyle snowboarding, teaching dance and Barre fitness classes, and directing the FA Academy of the Creative Arts at First Assembly Church. She has also had the privilege of being a Young Life leader, coaching at Christian camps, participating in Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training Schools, and leading worship and speaking at conferences and events internationally.
Amanda believes that learning should be inspiring and fun, and the BCS@Home Distance Education options can provide students with limitless possibilities while pursuing educational excellence. She is passionate about healthy living, creative expression, and spending time in the great outdoors with her husband Bradley and her dog Angel.
