Grades 7-9 Intramurals

Intramurals at BCS provide students with the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular physical activities. Aligned with our athletics program, intramurals is set up as a moderately competitive in-season tournament-style of play. Students in grades 7-9 are welcome to join us most Mondays and Wednesdays in the MPF gym at lunchtime. The four seasons we play are 4 v 4 volleyball, 3 v 3 basketball, 4 v 4 soccer, and dodgeball.

Meet our Junior High Athletic Director

Clinton Weening holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Calvin College and a Master of Arts in Education from Michigan State University. Upon graduation he was privileged to be able to serve as an Athletic Director, PE Teacher and Coach in both Honduras and Egypt. Upon returning to Alberta, Clinton spent one year teaching PE in High Level before moving to Calgary to serve as an Assistant Principal at a private school in northeast Calgary.

Clinton is the Principal for BCS @Home and the Junior High Athletic Director. He loves spending time with his children, playing sports, and is actively involved at Foothills Alliance Church. Clinton feels blessed to be a part of BCS and encouraging student athletes, coaches and families to use athletics as a platform to know, love and honour God!
