Among the elementary schools in Calgary, BCS Elementary offers an exceptional learning experience for students from Kindergarten to Grade 4. We recognize that each child is a unique gift from God and strive to provide a stimulating and caring environment in which to maximize each child’s potential.
In BCS Elementary
Discipleship is at the core of everything we do at BCS. Our goal is that every elementary student would come to know God on a personal and intimate basis. During these critical formative years, we desire to teach and model the grace and love of our heavenly Father, knowing that real change and true life are found only in a relationship with Him. Everything else will follow.
Biblical teaching occurs implicitly and explicitly through daily interactions with staff members who have committed themselves to following Jesus, through Bible curriculum, through worship and teaching at chapel, as well as through Biblical values incorporated into every part of the regular academic curriculum.
It is our goal to strive for excellence in everything we do. BCS teachers and families work together to build a foundation of academic excellence in each student.
Professional & Caring Resource Team
A dedicated Resource Team assesses the individual needs of students and provides additional support to ensure that each student feels cared for and can be successful.
Current technology is integrated into classroom instruction and is intended to be a tool to enhance student learning. Students have access to age-appropriate, one-to-one devices within the classroom.
Showcase & Success Stories
Our students reflect the beauty, creativity, and glory of God through expressing their giftings and abilities in visual art, music, science experiments, and other works of their hands, minds and hearts.
