Out-of-School Care – Bearspaw Christian School

Bearspaw Christian School’s Out-of-School Care (OSC) Program is a licensed and accredited program geared towards Elementary students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 for families who need a childcare solution beyond what the standard school day offers.

Students will have a blast interacting with our exceptional staff who work tirelessly to create a fun and safe environment for them.

OSC Programs

Before School Care

Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 8:30 am

How does Before School Care work?

BCS’ Front Door is locked until 8:00AM. There is a doorbell at the main entrance way. Staff will open doors and walk children to morning program.
Between 8:20 AM – 8:30 AM: Kindergarten – Grade 4 Students are walked to their classrooms. Grade 5 & 6 Students are dismissed to go to their classrooms.

After School Care

Monday – Thursday: 3:40 pm – 6:00 pm | Friday: 1:20 pm – 6:00 pm

How does After School Care work?

All students will be supervised after school by their teachers until the designated pick up time is over. Teachers then walk students to the OSC room.

Non-Holiday School Closures

Full-day: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Half-day: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Bearspaw Christian School offers full-day or half-day childcare for elementary age children on all Non-Holiday School Closures. Minumim 6 children registered for program to run.

A one-time $40 Enrollment Fee / Per Family will be added to the first months invoice upon enrollment. This covers the administrative costs involved in managing the program.

Payment

Full Time/Regular Use Families: The set amount will be debited on the first of each month.

BCS Families have provided a VOID cheque as part of their enrollment process. This authorizes automatic debits for BCS Services, including the Out of School Care Program. Debits will be made the first of each month for services rendered.
