Discipleship
Discipleship is two or more Christ-followers encouraging each other in their faith journey. At BCS, staff and students come alongside each other with the shared goal of strengthening and growing in their relationship with Jesus.
Our focus is leading students into a deeper personal walk with Christ, a more passionate love for the Scripture, deep theological rootedness, and a clear understanding of their purpose in the Kingdom.
Athletics
K – Grade 6
BCS introduces students in Kindergarten to grade 6 to the joy of sport through special physical education class activities, gym free time, recreational intramurals, and competitive tournaments throughout the school year. We also come together to enjoy fitness through the annual Terry Fox Run, Vivo Day, and Sports Day.
Athletics
Grades 7-12
BCS has a robust athletics program for grades 7-12, offering a variety of team and individual sports as well as training camps led by dedicated coaches. We place a high value on the pursuit of excellence in sports performance and sportsmanship, celebrating athletic achievements in our assemblies and awards ceremonies.
Fine Arts
The fine arts program at BCS offers students the chance to develop their skills and express the creativity, beauty and wonder of God through art, drama, and music.
Fine arts at BCS is about worshiping and showcasing God through the work of our bodies, minds, and hearts.
Spiritual Formation Trips
The hope for the Spiritual Formation Trips is to provide opportunities for all high school students to take part in the trips throughout their time in high school at BCS. The heart behind it is to provide various opportunities for students to grow in their journeys with Jesus by stepping away from “normal life.” By participating in these experiences, students have the opportunity to grow in vulnerability with God and their peers in different and meaningful ways.
Student Leadership
One of our goals at BCS is to see students take responsibility for their own spiritual growth and invest in the faith communities of which they are a part. BCS students are taking the lead in some exciting ways, through Middle School and High School Student Council, athletic coaching and leading worship. Older students are mentoring younger students, and many are serving in their local churches and inviting their peers to do the same.
Special Events
Student life at BCS is full of rich experiences and fun events for students and families. We are intentional about finding ways to come together as a community and so there is always something exciting to look forward to.
