Kindergarten – Grade 6
BCS introduces K-6 students to the joy of sport through special physical education class activities, gym free time, recreational intramurals, and competitive tournaments throughout the school year. We also come together to enjoy fitness through the annual Terry Fox Run, Vivo Day, and Sports Day.
Athletics
Grades 7-12
BCS offers grades 7-12 students a variety of intramurals, team and individual sports, as well as training camps led by skilled and dedicated coaches. The Bearspaw Barbell club is an opportunity for High School students to learn and practice disciplined strength training and pursue lifelong fitness.

Intramurals
Intramurals at BCS provide students with the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular physical activity in a moderately competitive environment. Intramurals is available during lunch time in the MPF gym for both Junior High and Senior High, and sports we play include 4 v 4 volleyball, 3 v 3 basketball, 4 v 4 soccer, and dodgeball.
The intramural program serves as an alternative lunchtime recess activity. Sports and activities will vary monthly and complement the current sports taught during PE class, including tag games, soccer, dodgeball, basketball, kickball and more.
Join the BCS Coaching and Support Volunteers
The BCS Athletics program is always looking for exceptional coaches and support volunteers who love helping student athletes reach their full potential, both on and off the court/field. If you are interested in any capacity, please contact our Athletic Directors:
