PowerSchool is the Student Information System (SIS) used at BCS. It allows parents, guardians and students to access student grades, assignments, attendance and class calendars.
How to create a parent PowerSchool account
- If you are a new parent at BCS, you would have received an email with your student’s Access ID and Access Password. (If you didn’t receive an email with Access ID and Password, send an email to [email protected]) If you received the email, continue with Step 2.
- Go to bearspaw.powerschool.com/public
- Select the “Create Account” tab and select “Create Account”
- Complete the form by filling in your personal information.
- When creating your password, follow the directions carefully. For example, your password must be at least 8 characters long, contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter, etc.
- For each child: fill in the Student’s Name, Access ID.
- Click on “Enter” when you finish.
- You will be redirected to the “Student and Parent Sign In”. Enter the username and password that you just created.
- If you would like to set up PowerSchool on our iPhone, iPad, or Android device, download the PowerSchool app (App Store of Google Play). The first time you open the app, enter the BCS District Code: STKP.
- Returning parents who wish to add a child to their account should:
– Sign in to the PowerSchool parent portal
– Select “Account Preferences” on the left panel
– Select the “Students” tab
– Click “Add”
– Fill in the Student’s Name, Access ID and Access Password received from the school.
Please Note: Your PowerSchool Parent Portal account MUST be created using PowerSchool Parent Portal in a Web Browser. It cannot be created in the PowerSchool app.
